At this point in the game you could either ford across the river (hoping not to tip), or go around the river to a bridge. Most of the time Zeke would break his arm and die while my oxen drowned, bringing the game to a quick close. At this point I would point to the 8-bit characters on the screen and, in a great example of 10-year-old maturity, start cursing and ask the fictional characters how the hell they let that happen, vowing revenge by making them do a grueling pace and watch their children die of dysentery (Mwu'hahahaha!).
