Greetings from Marketplace!
The 7th Annual BOSS Business Plan Competition will be held on January 13-14, 2009 at the Bismarck Civic Center in Bismarck, ND.  The Competition is open to anyone age 25 and under with the desire to locate/start a business in North Dakota.  Up to $8,000 will be awarded to the winning teams!  Please encourage high school and college students to participate!
Deadlines for the Competition are fast approaching.  The deadline for participants to submit their Intent to Compete is Wednesday, November 19, 2008, with Business Plans being delivered/postmarked by Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
To view the 2009 Official Rules, Requirements and Judging Criteria, and to complete an online Intent to Compete,  go to www.MarketplaceForEntrepreneurs.org<http://www.MarketplaceForEntrepreneurs.org> and click on the BOSS Competition link on the left side of the page.
We are also encouraging all BOSS participants to attend Career Marketplace; Experiences of Entrepreneurs:  A CEO/Student Exchange; and Marketplace for Entrepreneurs on Wednesday, January 14, 2009.  More information on these programs will be sent to you in the immediate future.
Please share this information with your students, faculty, co-workers, and/or others you feel would be interested in participating.  Feel free to publicize this information in your organization's newsletters and/or provide a link to the information on your web site.
