Howdy
« on: September 11, 2006, 11:25:41 PM »
I'm up here from College Station Texas, home of Texas A&M University.  I just graduated from A&M and am up in Fargo for two weeks for training for my job.  I'll be back up here in the middle of October for another training session.  I was wondering what there is to do in this town.  I've never been up in this part of the country before, so excuse me for not being in the know.  So if anyone has any helpful tips or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Gig'Em

Welcome to town. You guys have a great Technichal Rescue training setup out there for sure. One of my co workers on the FFD went and enjoyed it. Hopefully I can go next year.

Anyway are you over or under 21 and what are some of the things you like to do?

That might help a bit.

Too bad we arent in the middle of our -36 degree weather with 100 inches of snow.... ah the good old days.

I am over 21.  Most of the time when I go out in College Station we just head to one of the bars by campus.  I like drinking, dancing, meeting new people, pretty much that type of stuff.

I don't think I could handle the -36 though.  I was outside yesterday aroun 6 in the evening and I was already cold.  Hell the high here yesterday didn't even get as warm as the usual low in College Station.  Needless to say I've been a little cold since I got here.

Bars are always good.

You could try hitting the college crowd if you want.
