I dont think we should have ANY concerts here at UND.....we pay thousands of dollars here and you cant please everyone.  Is it fair to bring a band here that not everyone wants to see?  The last few bands that have been here.....O.A.R., Everclear, Blues Traveler, etc. are NOT bands that I'm interested in seeing.  So I basically DONT want my money being spent on these bands.  I'm more pro music here than most people (I play drums for Hello Newman) but I just dont agree with the spending of all that money for 2 hours of "enjoyment"...

The Decemberists
Sufjan Stevens
Death Cab for Cutie
Coldplay
Wolfmother
Snow Patrol
Kaiser Cheifs
Arctic Monkeys
Weezer

The Decemberists, from my home town, oh yeah...that would be grand. MUSE would be cool, but their brit and probably wont come to a little ole college. Same with Modest Mouse (they're not brit though), they're over in Europe or something. Nice music selection though, it would be nice to see some good music some to Grand Forks.

How about Jazz or Classical related? Oh wait, we're in North Dakota. No one's heard of those words.

i'd KILL to hear Wynton Marsalis play a little of both.

Yes indeed! Or a little bit of Phil Woods.

Snow Patrol would be a decent band to get here because they are not very popular yet, but thier music is good.

The Killers ( I dunno if they are affordable now though)
Three Days Grace (They put on a great live show!  I saw them before I hate everything about you was on every radio station being overplayed)
Finch (They can also put on a great show)
Trapt (Once again they put on a great show)
Panic! at the Disco
Le Arc En Ciel (Ok its a J-Pop band so I do not see them comming here)
Orange Range (see above comment)
Dave Matthews Band (Yeah like that will happen ... a girl can dream though I will settle for just Dave Matthews on an acoustic tour)
