Looking for a bike to borrow
« on: February 06, 2011, 11:54:44 AM »
My car just died on me, and I am looking for a bike to ride to get around on campus, all I have is my racing bike and do not want to take that out and about right now.  I am looking for a bike to borrow for a few weeks until I save enough to buy a new car.  I was hoping that somebody had an extra one or a junker that I could try to fix up.  I just need something to get me from my apartment to class and to spin sessions.

Thanks for your help

Sorry dude, I don't think I have anything for you that would fit.  The most rideable might be this singlespeed polo bike on a ladies frame that I rebuilt last fall, but it's still got slick tires and is too small.

JUST EXTRA POLISH. I DO SOME WORK WITH EXCELL SO I KEEP THE CAPS LOCK ON :-P

Okay, I found one.  You can come snag it from Leonard sometime today before 1:30ish.  You might want to bring a pump, I don't have one here.

I'm in Leonard 40 by the way.  I don't know if you've ever stopped over here.
