Fans, Be Herd on New YouTube Channel
NDSU Athletic Media Relations
08/07/2008

FARGO, N.D. – Now is the chance for fans to Be Herd.  The NDSU athletic department, in partnership with Scheels, has announced a new promotion for the 2008 football season: the creation of an NDSU YouTube channel entitled Be Herd.

The YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/ndsubeherd, will allow fans to watch videos and see pictures showcasing Bison pride.

“This is a great opportunity for Bison fans across the nation to show their pride and show the world what makes NDSU athletics so special,” said Stephon Thomas, assistant director of marketing and promotions.

Fans who submit videos are eligible to win prizes the week of every Bison home football game.  The weekly winner’s video will be shown at the Fargodome during the game.  The winner will also receive a $100 Scheels gift certificate and have an opportunity to be announced on the field.

Fans can submit videos or pictures to [email protected].  The videos will be screened and then posted online.  Videos must be submitted in the .AVI, .MOV, .WMV or .MPG file format.
